Traffic flow and road conditions
Roads are partly wet and slippery in the area of Rijeka. In the rest of the country weather condtions are favourable.
During the day difficulties may occur in roadwork areas.
Drivers are invited to adjust the way of driving and the speed to road conditions and to keep distance!
Traffic restrictions:
A1 Zagreb-Ploče-Dubrovnik motorway:
- until 21 May between the Novigrad and Karlovac junctions at the Dobra viaduct 49th-48th km in direction Zagreb traffic is flowing in reduced lanes - delays should be expected;
- 22 and 25 April at noon traffic is suspended for about 15 minutes between the Prgomet and Vučevica junctions in direction Dubrovnik, Dugopolje and Vučevica junctions in direction Zagreb;
A3 Bregana-Lipovac motorway:
- at the Zagreb (Plitvice) rest area 17th km-16th km traffic is flowing in reduced lanes until 30 April (driving speed limit of 60 km/h);
- until 30 April at the Stari Grabovac rest area in direction Bregana the parking surfaces are closed, the petrol station however remains open;
- until 1 May at the Zagreb zapad junction from direction Lipovac (A3) and from direction Macelj (A2) towards Zagreb (most Sava-Jankomir) one lane is free only;
- until 9 May roadwork is in progress at the Lučko junction from direction Zagreb (Jadranska avenija) towards the Zagreb zapad junction as well as from direction Bregana towards Zagreb-jug junction/Lipovac;
- until 6 June at the Lučko junction (Kalinovo viaduct) in direction Bregana trafic is flowing in reduced lanes;
- until 28 May between the Nova Gradiška and Lužani junctions one lane is free only in each direction;
- until 28 May on the section Lužani-Slavonski Brod zapad 196th-200th km one lane is free only in both directions;
- until 1 June at the Kraljeva Velika jug (Lipovljani) rest area the parking surfaces are closed, until 10 June at the Kraljeva Velika sjever rest area;
- until 9 May between the Sesvete and Zagreb istok junctions 93rd-96th km one lane is free only in direction Zagreb, in direction Goričan traffic is flowing in reduced lanes;
- 22-30 April traffic is suspended at the entrance of Zagreb istok junction (from direction Otok Svibovski towards Zagreb/Slavonska avenija and towards Bregana/Split/Rijeka), detour: A3 motorway-Otok Svibovski junction-Zagreb istok junction-U-turn-Zagreb istok junction;
A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway:
- until 15 May at the Orehovica junction traffic is suspended in the exit lane from direction Zagreb towards Trsat (Rijeka centar) detour: Čavle junction-ŽC5205-DC3-Rijeka-Rijeka istok junction (A7)-DC404-Rijeka;
- until 8 May traffic is suspended at the exit of Vrbovsko junction towards Zagreb, detour: Ravna Gora junction;
- until 30 April (except 11-22 April) 9pm-5.30am traffic is suspended between the Rujevica and Orehovica junctions in direction Križišće/Zagreb, detour: through Rijeka;
- 26 April at 9am-27 April at 9pm traffic is suspended beween the Škurinje and Orehovica junctions towards Križišće/Zagreb, detour: through Rijeka;
- traffic is occasionally suspended between the Učka tunnel and Matulji (Učka) junction due to roadwork, detour: DC500 Vranja-Šušnjevica-Vozilići (DC64) and ŽC5047 Vranja (A8/DC500)-Veprinac-Matulji (DC8);
- between the Učka tunnel and Matulji (Učka) junction there is a traffic ban on vehicles wider than 3 m and longer than 22 m in both directions;
- due to roadwork between the Lupoglav and Cerovlje junctions there is a traffic ban on vehicles wider than 3 m;
DC1 state road:
- until 21 April on the DC1 Solin-Klis highway one lane is free only in each direction;
- until 31 May traffic is closed on the section Gračac-Knin at the Stara Straža viaduct, detour for passenger traffic/vehicles up to 7,5 tonnes: Žagrović;
- until 30 April at Brnaze one lane is free only;
- until 16 May traffic is closed;
- 22, 23, 24, 25 and 28 April 11pm-5am traffic is suspended between the Vežica junction and DC404/DC8 interesection in both directions due to roadwork at the Pećine and Bobova tunnels;
- due to rock sliding traffic is suspended on the at the Stupica tunnel towards Vrgorac.
